2nd hand 50/100 8 left 1 table sng
I have a nice 2k
I raise preflop with AQ, 1 guy cold calls maybe another but he is uninvolved.
Flop 8TT
I bet out 200
Turn Q I bet 250 he check raises to 500
River T He pushes I think for a good while, (he represtend a T all hand) and call
I double up through 8T. His play sorta sucked, he could only get called when behind.

What kind of tournament was that? No-way that was an easy fold. I may have gambled to bust him there. Depends on the table.

Yeah, not an obvious fold. I'm assuming it was a SNG, since we dont have a player in seat 3, could be a MTT, but not as likely.
again, too many depends to make this an easy choice.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

with 8 players left and blinds at 25/50 you dont need to take at best (most likely) a 50/50.
you arent pushing you are calling.
there are no odds for you to call.
you already have over 4k at 25/50.
having 7k with 7 left at 25/50 still doesnt guarantee a cake walk to 1st and having 2k with 8 left puts you at a defecit. fold here and get your money in a better spot than CALLING a 50/50. basically its not worth the gamble here i fold it everytime
$5 s/g buddy better spots. if you are better than the field fold, but if you arent then call
wtf does this have to do with the table? even if this guy was pushing every hand i fold

If he defintaely has a random hand you fold here? Thats weak-tight.

Personally, if this player has shown any type of stupidity before by pushing with non-push hands, I call. We're left with 2kish if we lose, PLENTY OF chips. My goal is to win SNG's, not just make the money. With 7k chips, we are almost guranteed money, which is acceptable at best, but with this much of a lead, I can usually bully the rest of the field since they end up playing tight in order to cash.
Personally, I gain more real $ EV here by calling than folding. Yeah I'd risk half of my stack, and still be healthy if I lose, to gain that type of stack. No brainer for me.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

If the guy has any less chips I'd surely call.
