Wondering what you guys think of this hand? I was fairly confident I knew his hand and figured there was a chance I get check raised on the river, but was I correct to make a value bet here or just check behind him?

I think I need to know the player here. I'm really not believing AK/AQ here. Especially since they bet/called the flop. Unless they have shown to be VERY passive when faced with aggression when holding a non-nut hand, then I think I'm doubting AK/AQ. A8 Doesn't fit either since they raised PF, and anybody that raises A8 doesn't bet/call it on the flop. To be honest the only hand to me that is plausible is KK (some people jsut won't let it go). Now they clearly played it bad on the flop.
What hand range did you put him on Pok7? Try pluggin your ranges into that excel hand evaluator i made up a few weeks ago and see what you get.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

I figured the only thing keeping him around post flop was a big A. I was thinking AJ, AK or POSSIBLY AT. AQ I think he would've gotten more aggressive on the flop and/or turn.
Marm where is that hand evaluator?...If it's not too hard to locate. I don't have it on my new machine. If you're looking to borrow money or have someone give you money in order to play poker online please don't contact me... Click Here for help , and explain your situation.

Hand Evaluator....
Just enter the possible Hand combinations and what you think the likely chances of each are. If you have >50% equity, you should three bet this. If you have <50%, you should call. If you have <6.3%, you should fold.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Thanks :good:
Uhhh....just one more thing. If I want to put add more hands to the possible ranges can I just change them in the "A" column? Your notes say only change the colored boxes...If I want to use this with other hands besides the 6 listed how would I do it?

Well... I have'nt seen the results nor other poeples comments... I Bet reraise this river for sure...
Only AA, AK, AQ, A8 and KK beat you here...
AA would have reraise PF if not, at least reraise turn
AK reraise PF and reraise flop
AQ reraise turn for sure
KK reraise PF 95% of the time
A8 could have played it like that, but I doubt...
I cant see you loosing thist hand... maybe if he have a solid read on you being on a set on the flop... but just decided to see if he can hit an AAA FH with AK cause he had great odds.

i put him on AK cause he did raise PF and with a 3-bet i didnt think he would cap it with A-k. He called and flopped what he wanted TPTK and turned what he wanted as well. If he knew you had Q-Q which he probly didnt he thinks he is in the lead and actually out playing you. On the river a 3-bet is too dangerous and there is no chance he is folding and if you are out-boated you are just giving him more money.

Right click on the "4" row (all the way to the left) and click insert Row. It should copy ALL the hidden data to a new row, so you can expand and delete rows as you need.
