Default Another Donked Hand by Trons???

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) converter

This is a $3 Turbo SnG

    Hero (t1665)
    UTG (t3495)
    MP (t4525)
    Button (t3105)
    SB (t2210)

Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
2 folds, Button raises to t300, 1 fold, Hero calls t150.

Button had been caught raising from the button with anything if folded to him. He had made his stack by pure agression and showed numerous bluffs. I figured at worst I was a coin flip on this and I thought my odds were decent. I had actually thought about reraising, but figured I would see a flop.

    Flop: (t675) , , (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t1650, Hero calls t1365 (All-In).

Well, I like this flop. Ragged with me holding TPDK. Button had been very agressive. He had been caught bluffing a bit but also bet 2nd and bottom pair. I was about 75% sure I was ahead but wanted to give him a chance to bluff his chips away. His bet seemed way too big and screamed "I want this hand over now". I thought about the hand and figured he was either completly bluffing or at best had a hand like JT. I figured I was a head and I wouldn't get much better chance to double up before I was blinded out.

    Turn: (t3690) (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t3690) (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t3690

    Results in white below:
Hero has JavaScript Qs (two pair, jacks and tens).
Button has Kh 9h (two pair, tens and nines).
Outcome: Hero wins t3405. Button wins t285.

Looks like a great play to me - I would have pushed the flop if he hadn't. Looks to me like you read him well.
I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

I like it, only real threat is being outkicked or him holding a big PP there, which if you have him pinned as a bluffer I wouldn't give much credit for.

I'm guessing with top pair and/or an overpair, the villain wouldn't have pushed has hard as he did on the flop. Nh Trons.

seems alright to me......if he didnt put u in on the flop, id have definently pushed if he bet anything at all

just as a little side note / devils advocate type question....

if i had him pegged as a continual bluffer, i may have pushed pf so i wouldnt have to answer the following question......it may also stop him or at least slow him down from stealing when your blinds get bigger

what do u do if an A or K hits on flop and u know hes gonna have a stab at it regardless of whether he hits or not?

Well played, the only hand I can see beating you here is KJ. More likely Jx which is good.

I'd have done exactly the same and taken my medicine if I got beat.

Hmm . . . given what we know about the button, and given our chip position . . . I have a hard time seeing how I'm not all in here PF.

On the flop, you've got TP good kicker, gotta get all the $ in. I like the check raise attempt (that is really a check call when Mr. Bluffer puts you all in).

in this situation i don't like pushing preflop... because your opponent will pay you when you hit.

1/3 of the time you win 2k, 2/3 you lose 300. That seems like solid EV to me, where the push you're behind most hands that call you.
-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.
