Default extracting the most $$ on the turn in NL..

Here's a scenario that comes up a fair amount - you hit your set against a PF raiser, you're out of position and you showed weakness on a good-looking flop. Both of you still have a decent amount of chips left. What's your play to extract the most here and why?

UTG raises to $22, 3 folds, Hero calls $19 (pot was $31), BB folds.

Hero bets $20, UTG raises to $64, Hero calls $44 (pot was $134).

Lot of options here and i'm curious to see what everyone thinks should be done. What I did is below in white...

I would have played it the exact same way you did. I'm guessing he had AK?

I don't know if a check-push would work here or not...

since u played it like that on the flop, u allowed ur opponent to think that he is ahead, therefore on the turn chances are if u check, he will fire into the pot again. Therefore, on the turn i would have check-raised, or check-called, then bet the river strong, depending on what amount i think he will call on the river.

Since u bet-called flop, im leaning towards a check-raise on the turn as the best play. If Villian has AK or AA, ur getting paid off here easily and u want him to get in as much money as possible here before any possible scare cards can come on the river that will stop ur opponent from putting anymore money in the pot. If u check-call and he puts u on a FD as a possible holding, and the flush completes on the river, then all the money is gone - there is a chance he may not call a river bet from you.

Anyways, this is how i would have played it. Check-raise on the flop, if he has AA or AK, ur gonna get paid off, and therefore u would want him to get in as much money on the flop as possible. A check-call is also plausible on the flop, but the reason i would stay away from that is there is a FD on the board, if u check-call he may think ur on a FD, and if the FD completes on the turn and u lead out to protect ur hand (since there are 3 clubs on the board), Villian may think u hit ur flush and therefore all the money is gone. Furthermore, if he has a hand like AQ of clubs, then u wouldnt want to give him that free card by check-calling as it could possible make u lose alot of money if he hits his draw.
