    5th in chips with 22K
    blinds are 400/800
    On the button with

    folds to me
    I raise it to 3000
    Both blinds call... hish...

    Both check
9K pot... BB is at 13K SB a bit under 9K that... So I go all in... I dont want one of them to go over the top anf force me to think about the str8... + i guess I can bring SB with me if he is on a FD... any way I'm pretty sure I wont fold the turn even if its a spade...

    They both call!!!! Oups!!!!

They show and (witch is my fav hand... so I feel confortable!!! )

obvious push on the flop. you had the best hand and they called, whats the problem?

You had 70%+ equity with two other players in the pot. Sounds like a good situation to me
-You may not know this, but poker is a game of incomplete information.

No problem... I was happy about the result when I saw their hands, but the point is they bot beat me on the turn... I wanted to know if some of you just cut the odd to the FD and fold if a spade hit... I guess not but...

BTW... made a mistake, blids were 500/1k.. so it was a 3BB raise.

+ if you want to feel even better, let me inform you I also got kicked out of a SNG with 2 pairs VS over pairs... a 2 paired te board on turn and got kicked out of another with KK VS AKs PF... + went out of an MTT with QQ vs KTs...

Cant belive I break even for the day!

TY to a feww MTT money finishes and a few SNG 1st places.

I think the all in on the flop is good. The preflop raise really should eliminate the chance of someone calling with J8 or 86, (for around 20-25% of their total chips). You've got top two pair, no reasonable holding beats you except trips. I can't see how you could get away from the hand. Would go all-in and hope to called by anything but trips. You put them to a decision for all their chips, and you got them to put their money when they were well behind, 50% of the time you tripple up.

How good the preflop action was depends on what you know of the players in the blinds, i'm guessing you made this raise with a healthy expectation of folding. 3.5BB is a good amount as well. Personally, being Cpt. Cautious, i might have let it go. As it stands you're a shoe in for the final table, and the blinds, although significant, may not be worth the risk. But that probably is being too cautious. I would really judge the decision on how tight the game was, how long had it been 15 handed, were ppl droping out quickly or not.

The last 15-11 seems to be the worst part of a MTT for me, you're playing 6 or 7 handed, which means more blinds to pay and less antes to steal, and everyone seems to tighten up, all in or nothing usualy. Which is good for stealing, but ppl are tight for good reason, i.e. a misstep now and 2 hours of solid disciplined play is ruined. Its an area I need to improve on i think.
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

yes I was expecting them to fold, but I was pretty comfortable with a call too... I could have tae the pot on a rag flop pretty easily.

They were both pretty weak tight, with BB being a fairly good player but nothing special. I'm pretty sure he called bot PF and flop just because SB did and gave him the odds... He would have fold both streets if SB not in the hand.

    No ante...

this site is a bit weird...

    You start at 1000
cant rebuy before you hit 0
    No ante
blinds cap at 5k 10k with less than 500k in play

Geez, I would fold both those blinds to a 3,000 raise.......I wonder if my blind play it too tight in the later stages of MTTs.

I would put both of them all in on the flop also and let them draw for all their chips.

Your other option is to check through the turn and hope for a blank. But, are you really going to give up the hand if a scare card comes?....probably not.

    So I like your play.

Well I am pretty agressive on the button and CO when its folded to me... so I guess SB tought KJ could be good... and he was right... for BB, he had only 2K to call in a 7k pot and great iplied odds with a suited A....

I would have called in both blinds VS me I think....
