Too dangerous?
I was playing at a very tight table and was tired of getting no action with my hands, so I sorta slowplayed top pair since the board wasnt scary. Is this too dangerous of a play?

I'm not a fan of the early limp, but everything about the flop action on indicates that you're ahead. I might have bet a bit more on the turn to make it look like you had a weak jack and were trying to end the hand [plus there are several draws out so people have ample reason to call]...

I don't like slowplaying one pair, because you are giving away free cards to draw. Obviously if they are drawing you are up and you want to punish them for drawing and that means betting, however in the hand you have posted, you implied weakness, and nobody else wanted to raise either so I think you got the BB to call when he otherwise would not have. Hard to tell though since he had 2nd pair.

no betting flop? slop playing top pair w/ bad kicker is kind of dumb.
nothing is dangerous here though, from the actions of your opponent you have him beat all the way, so its fine. allthough you deserve to be sucked out on this hand.

I know giving free cards is a bad idea, but its so frustrating playing on these tight tables. If I had bet the flop I'm sure I would have just taken down the blinds. I guess I was also giving the CO a chance to make a position bet.

Bet the flop
rest of hand is fine (although a raise or fold PF would be okay.)
