    Default PLO hand

Decided to play some PLO today, give myself a break from grinding the stud tables. Probably about the 5th or 6th time I've ever played the game. Anyway, hows my driving?

    ------HAND 4------
    Game #1909497253: Omaha PL (US$0.25/US$0.50) - 2006/03/17 - 15:55:48 (BST)
Table "Humberto" Seat 2 is the button.
Seat 2: slippers (US$90 in chips)
    Seat 4: cs2275 (US$12.05 in chips)
Seat 5: Astaroth (US$41.90 in chips)
Seat 6: Stattoman (US$8.75 in chips)
Seat 7: Mortedo (US$55.90 in chips)
    Seat 8: Go_Hard (US$30.40 in chips)
    Seat 9: Toby99 (US$68.95 in chips)
Seat 10: eekie (US$58.35 in chips)
    cs2275: posts small blind US$0.25
    Astaroth: posts big blind US$0.50
    ----- HOLE CARDS -----
    dealt to Astaroth [ ]
    Stattoman: calls US$0.50
    Mortedo: calls US$0.50
    Go_Hard: calls US$0.50
    Toby99: calls US$0.50
    eekie: folds
    slippers: folds
    cs2275: calls US$0.25
    Astaroth: checks
    ----- FLOP ----- [ ]
    cs2275: checks
    Astaroth: bets US$3
    Stattoman: folds
    Mortedo: calls US$3
    Go_Hard: folds
    Toby99: folds
    cs2275: folds

I bet pot with top pair-bottom pair and nut flush draw, seems fairly straight forward. Is that the right bet? One caller, don't know anything about him.

    ----- TURN ----- []
    Astaroth: bets US$5
    Mortedo: calls US$5

Marginal improvement, but $5 into a $9 pot. I was worried he might have been playing 45 for a double gut shot, or maybe trip 3s or 7s, and figured if he'll call $5 he'll probably call $9, and if he raised me i'd rather pay the smaller amount. He called pretty quickly, so i could only think he had some sort of draw.

    ----- RIVER ----- []
    Astaroth: checks
    Mortedo: checks
    ----- SHOW DOWN -----
Astaroth: shows [Jh 3c 6h Ah] (A Flush, Ace high)
    Mortedo: mucks hand [7c 6c 8d Qd]
Astaroth collects US$18.05 from Main pot
    ----- SUMMARY -----
Total pot US$19 Main pot US$18.05 Rake US$0.95
    Board [ ]
Seat 5: Astaroth (big blind) showed [ ] and won (US$18.05) with A Flush, Ace high
    Seat 7: Mortedo mucked [ ]

Was the check on the river a spaz move? The only thing I could think he would be chasing with was a flush or str8 draw, the made both possible, so i thought he might bet his hand or bluff at me if I checked the river. Turns out he had two small pair, so probably wouldn't of called much of a bet anyway.
I love him who is ashamed when the dice fall in his favour and who then asks: Am I then a cheat? for he wants to perish.

Gotta bet the river, if you think he might try to bluff or raise a lesser flush than bet like $2-3. otherwise I'm betting $10ish into that pot

You might want to try a check-raise on the flop if the table rarely lets a flop go by unbet. you don't really want a call and if someone wants to put there stack in you have lots of outs. But you'll win about the same with a check-raise as you did going to showdown if you get a bet and a call.
