What is your starting hand requirements for pushing a hand preflop while four handed. Assume you're short at around 8-10bb. I've been making some pushes that i thought were good plays with 4 players left, but they turned out to be wrong i think..

Well this is really a question of how weak the others are. If they are pretty weak and have been folding because they have not adjusted from a full table, then pretty much any 2 will do. But first time around 4 handed, anything that may be playable (like 67s+), I push. Second time around, If theres a letter on it I push, if theres two numbers that add up to >10, I push.

8-10bb. why do you get to this point??? ask youreself what you should be pushing with @ 15bb, b/c obviously your going from 15bb to 10bb to 0bb.

mer..... thats a little absolute for me... <5 handed its more about the players than anything. 15 bets and passive players, I 3bb raise, not push. Aggys I push if I get a playable hand....
