I'm a newb and have a strategy question. I'll try to remember thing correctly.

PIron: 1000 in chips <- Me
Biggelow: 2500 in chips

Preflop:

I raise 100 and a few people call

Flop:

Biggelow checks, I raise 100 and he calls

Turn:

Biggelow checks, I go all in and he calls

River:


So I loose... He had a king and queen allready. How did I do besides loosing?

Well you need to bet more on the flop, 3/4 to full pot size. Pushing on the turn when a king shows up is a bad idea.

Post what the blinds were.

preflop you make it a 100 and "few ppl call" means pot on flop = 300+, you severly underbet this pot on the flop.

jack it up to 300-600-all in. bet more on flop!

now on turn your too late!

Blinds where 50/100 I belive

So you min raised PF, and min bet on the flop?....play your jacks harder here...
Anyways im probably pushing this hand PF, you only have 10bb left, if you raise 3bb and get called and miss you are left with not much and probably will have to push a worse hand later, why not pick up some blinds here

As said before, bet alot more on the flop, while jacks are probably the best hand here, we dont want to give odds for 2 overs to call.

Dont put all your money in on the turn when an over hits, what is he calling an all in with on this board?
