Hmmm.. ok min betting/calling allin is the worst way to do this... but for your first action alone min betting is the worst thing you can do, even a .10 bet would have been almost ok, since you were the offering only 10-1 .

BUt with a .50 bet, that is ok... but I think checking with the intent to fold if you get less than 5-1 odds is the highest EV play. Problem is there is a 35% chance that a random hand holds a flush card, so with bluffing, to make this an +EV call, I'd need 5-1 odds to make this call if I checked. Means he'd have to bet around .20 to call here.
