Is that possible that .50/1.00 are softer games!
Crowd seem to be a lot weaker post flop, and a lot more agressive with any kind of strength... really easy to push them out when the have nothing, and realy easy to trap them when they have good hands VS monsters!!!
Well... I have a very few hands played at 1.00, but I'm simly more comfortable at .50/1.00... weird...

on stars i felt that .50-1 and 1-2 nl were alot looser than .15-.25
as for weaker
it would make sense though, everybody knows its stupid to try to read and bluff a beginner, sometimes they dont even know what they have.
this is kinda irrelivant but one time i was playing with friends, in a pot with one guy. i had a set on a 4 to straight board with not much invested to the pot, and he did something that he always does with a very strong hand. so he bet and i layed it down without much thought. he goes "shit, nice laydown. straight" turns over his cards... well... he almost had a straight. he still needed a 9 and a 7. he was completely serious.

I thought the same at one point, and moved up to .50/1 games. I remember telling people on a forum (not this one) about my discovery, and of how much easier it was for me to win. A couple of pros on the board shot me down, telling me it's a misconception and that if I couldn't handle .25/.50 then I'd never make it in the poker world. So after losing my bankroll playing .50/1 I realised that maybe they were right, and I should learn how to deal with maniacs who will play any old trash hand before moving up in the limits.

Try $2/$4 !
I've never seen any looser tables in my life than the PartyPoker 2/4's !
I'm not kidding, either. However, its tough to obtain the proper BR to play these limits.

...
How large should your BR be to play 2/4, I know I could search the forum but since you brought it up....

From one point of view it makes sense, ppl who are trying to build a bank will play .25/.50 but jackass who just wanna gamble will play 2/4 because its more exciting.

By the end of the year I should be rolled for 2/4 NL if I dont make too much withdraws, but now, I'm far to be able to play this game comfortable. I'm not even rolled for .50/1.

Oh BTW... I was beating .25/.50 big time... I did'nt move up because I tought it was easier, just because I felt I was ready for that... even if a bit underrolled...
