Default QQ early in a SnG

    More $55 SnG fun

Early on 10th hand, I've not played a hand yet 9 left of 10.

Raiser has raised once preflop and not shown cards.

    What's the move?

Go over the top of him...if he once again raises, he's probably got AA or KK, if he calls he's probably got AK or AQ.

I'd just call and drop it like a bad habit if an A or K flops. Of course I play QQ like they are 88.

I'm guessing... umm a small raise? or just a call

Btw.. I had QQ's 4 times in one sng yesterday. 3 times in a row too!

oh and I just won a SNG with QQ. Called a allin preflop. Only $17 but still

There is a point to this Marm , but I want to see what people do in this kind of situation before I make it.

I'm all in, praying for a call from AK-Acrap or smaller pocket pair. If KK or AA flips over, well, time for the next SNG. This early, you've got to be gunning for the maniacs. If you wait too long, their chips will be someone else's.

And Jason makes my point for me exactly my reasoning.

    Yup I pushed.

I got a call from the BB with TT and doubled up.

    Original raiser folded.

See, I don't play SNG's.... and everybody (ok most) are thinking survival. So pushing in an MTT is -EV IMO lookig at the range of hands that will call you. But In a SNG, I can see the merits of this move. I was thinking standard raise.
