I hear what you're saying Marm. The more I play the more I realise how entirely different the strategies for SnGs and MTTs are. Of course you can play them both the same way and be successful playing solid poker, but I think that for SnGs there's a way to exploit a whole number of very small edges to push up that long term ROI.

yeah, I would be less inclined to push in an MTT, but in the turbos I would.

i raise. my stack size depends on the raise i make. if i wont be able to protect my hand on the flop after a big i go all in. but i raise no matter what, i dont give somone credit for AA or KK unless they really really represent it.

I've only folded QQ preflop once. I raised 5xbb someone doubled my bet, someone called, and a 4th guy pushed. This was a large field MTT with like 20 ppl left.

I don't think I am the first to push, I definitely make a good sized bet. If he pushes that early in a SnG, I am definitely calling though because a) lots of maniacs b) he could be 'making a move' c) too good a hand to not call it down without enough reads on him.
