Default Play this Differently.

Initial raiser is LAA, LP raiser is TAA. Roll with my thinking too.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with , .
UTG raises, 2 folds, Hero calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, UTG calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

Ok, The initial raiser is LAA, so My hand stand to be best here. But the Button is TAA, so I know I'm screwed. But I know he knows that my calling standards are lower, so he may be raising with a wekaer hand than norm, but better than UTG. But I got odds to call this now. Take a flop and see what happens, eh?

Flop: (13.50 SB) , , (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds, Button calls, UTG folds.

Ok, I know I'm ahead of UTG with his check, I bet out hoping that the Button has KK or JJ. Basically a probe bet to see if I can take it down cheap. MP3 was fishy, so I had to wait till the turn to see what he was doing. --- Ok very weird results. I'm now thinking my A is behind to the button's bigger ace now, maybe hes got AQ and is slowplaying.

Turn: (7.75 BB) (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Yeah ok, this is really odd now. I got a flush draw to go along with my ace, which I don't think is good, maybe 20% good. But I think I may have enough equity (probably don't though) to bet it here and see if he was possibly drawing to something (doubt it) and may fold.

River: (9.75 BB) (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls.

Hit my Flush, and thats all I saw. As I click 3-bet, I realize calling is the best option.

Final Pot: 17.75 BB
Main Pot: 17.75 BB, between Button and Hero. > Pot won by Button (17.75 BB).

Results in white below:
Hero has 9c Ac (flush, ace high).
Button has Ad As (full house, aces full of queens).
Outcome: Button wins 17.75 BB.

im not playin it any different, even the river

putting myself into the buttons boots.....if i got AQ, im raising that turn to make things more expensive for the flush draw....him only calling would tell me that he doesnt have AQ....

the river.....with the strange turn play by button, im also 3-betting this

personally, id say it wasnt the best played AQ i ever saw......

I can't say I would have played that any differently. Only thing that I can think of is that he has put you on a SD, and that is why he checks the turn. Of course if he has you on a draw, then he needs to make you pay for your draw, so I don't know. He 3 bet PF so you know he has to have a hand, but like you said, the check on the turn is wierd. Unless he is just trying to play fancy, or had you figured out and knew what you would fold to and what you wouldn't. just guessing here though.

I have to say that while I didn't expect the AA from the way he played the flop I can understand his flop play basically. At first glance, I thought his turn play was horrible but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that even if he had raised, you would have at least called if you had a FD so by just calling your bet, he's got redraws if the flush hits but pairs the board, if the FD hits and the board doesn't pair then he has to make a tough decision, but he probably would have just called

I'm thinking that he would have played it this way (given that he's TAA) even if the board wouldn't have paired. I wouldn't have put you on a FD so the last club wouldn't have scared me. I would, however, have made my move on the turn. I try not to wait to the river to start raising top trips. Either way, I can see playing it both ways from either side. He just got lucky. He could have been playing AK like that too...if he's TAA...

Preflop call is awful, you can't cold-call in middle position in a what will probably be a shorthanded pot with a weak A like that. You either have to fold it or 3-bet and take on the LAA heads-up if you think he'll raise with worse hands than A9 UTG.

Post flop you played it pretty well, I'd be hard pressed not to 3-bet the river especially since he didn't raise you on the turn.
