You gotta fire off a bet on the flop to see where you are at. You can lay it down to a reraise, or slow down on the turn if cold called. You have the big stack and they probably won't come back at you without the King. Pot sized bet on the turn.
And use the hand converter.

Thanks!
I didn't use the hand converter just because it was a ply money game, and last time I tried to use it, it didn't add any of the bets in.
Thanks for the tips :good:

I can verify that I have used the hand converter for HHs for PStars play money hands. (hint: make sure you select ITH forums in the 1st drop down menu)

Pot sized bet is too much to recommend post flop (referring to ypsieasts recommendation). You are probing here for information. theres a very good shot you are beaten. Why pay so much money to find out?
Harrington recommends between 1/3 & 1/2 pot for probe bets. I like to go up towards the 1/2 pot so as to mix them in with my continuation bets which start at 1/2 pot.
Probe, and fold to any resistance. A call of your probe is always tricky. I probably check/fold the turn to a caller.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, Antneye, on the size of the flop bet. I don't play ring games, so I defer to your judgement (although HoH is geared toward tourney play). Point is, you definitely need to bet out here.

I read this as if it was a tourney......either way i agree you should lead out

Looking at it again I have to second guess myself. I don't love betting into 5 players here. I may just check/fold this, although some may say thats passive. It's a tough spot to be in.

Thanks guys! I'm not too concerned w/ bet size right now, just wanna get the basics down. Small-mid raise, in the game I got that hand in, would be between 600-1000 (depending on hand, who's in, etc).

Cricket,
Do not overlook the importance of bet size. The bet size is what differentiates your opponents making a mistake or doing the right thing by calling. It's all about the pot odds you are getting or offering.
You can't just ask "should I play" it must be decided in the context of how much relative tot he pot, your position, and many other factors.
Try reading some hand histories that are posted on here and pay special attention to these details.
