Potstuck, are you using GT+ or PokerAce Hud with PT? You mentioned not being able to access PT well during a game and either of those two free add-ons pretty much elliminate the need to access PT unless you are just wanting to seem some stats on how well a hand has held up for you in the past etc. With GT+ or PAHud you have all your stats on other players over layed on the game window itself. Very handy!

PAHUD is a commercial add-on, where GT+ is Opensource Freeware. And if you click the GameTime ir TourneyTime buttons along the menu bar, a window pops up that displays all this info without a 3rd party add-on.

PT takes a while to get fully used to, and to figure out how to fully maximize it for yourself.

Is GT+ Just as good without having to buy PAHUD?

Marm is right, I totally forgot that PAHUD is no longer free. I liked the program and paid for it as soon as it was no longer freeware. Didn't even think about that. Sorry!

Those are just session trackers, they only track your wins or losses. PT tracks all the aspects of every hand played. Go get the demo at www.pokertracker.com to get a looksy.

Depends on how serious a player you are, to be honest. A hardcore multitabler (IMHO) cannot survive without PA. But if you are just a hobbyist, you can escape with just GT+. GT+ works fine, but

GT+ does Ring HE games, and you can move the datablocks around, but you cannot really arrange their layout. The support for GT+ is about a C- D+.

PAHUD will do HE and Omaha, Ring and tourney, and Josh is working on adding Stud. The layout is Fully customizable, there are stats available to you that Deme would kill for, it shows muck cards after showdown, and automatically finds tables. It can also span multiple PT databases where GT+ can only draw data from one. Cs is an A- (only because PT's CS has to be an A+).

^^Thank you. I may have other questions regarding PT/HUD. Would I find a wealth of info at the PT forum or should I do searches here or another site?

Thanks Marm. I figured I'd ask where to look, take a peek, and then search here before asking questions since that would make me a hypocrite not to use the search feature.
