I think this is a really good site and programme. Its the sort of thing that would be attractive to some web sites.

A bit of the problem is the size of the database. You've run it for a week and have alot of ppl on it. After a month you will have the population of earth and nearby planets stored on it.. This could slow the internet down ....Do you intend to sell this or was a one off for fun?

Hey KingJack, I'm no longer on Noble, just Party. I was out of the loop here for a while but I'm going to try and get back into the swing.

As far as database size, I don't think it would be too big of an issue. Gigs are cheap these days. This program is just the basics and I really like it. It has huge potential that can be spun off in a variety of ways.

I think the gigs will cause an issue unless the database is pruned every month. ASi t getsbigger search times will lengthen and eventually a web host will despair of the processor overhead you are using when ppl search it.

I don't really have any plans for it yet. I just started it out of curiosity, then just kept on going. Size and server load will be an issue eventually, so I'll eventually have to either shut it down or find a way to pay for it. I'm pretty sure I have at least a month, and probably more like a couple months before I have to deal with it though.

just make two Dbases. One for players who have not yet played 10 or 20 events, and one for those that have. Make the 20+ dbase searchable and the one that is <20 hidden. Then move players over to the 'adult table' when they have enough events. This will really cut down on overhead.

I would be suprised if some poker related website(s) wouldn't buy the code from you. Maybe not a ton of money but enough to help cover your costs.

I'll do the bumping cause I like this, but....

It says N/A for the winnings on my rebuy tournaments!!!!

This turns me into a loser on MTTs over the last 33 entries. Now I should only be up about $1000 and it correctly records my poor run in the $50 buyins but please fix the rebuy (I'm guessing you are using the number of entrants to calculate the prize pool and can't do this with the rebuys?)

Yeah, I don't see this as spam. He is contributing something to the community. He doesn't even have any adds or affiliate schemes on his page and isn't trying to sell it.

Anyone else going to own up to their Party Poker names
