Poker Players Alliance
Has anyone else joined the PPA?
You can sign up through Party Poker, the cost is $20 but Party poker gives you $25 for signing up + you get a T-shirt. After you deposit at Party poker it will redirect you to the offer of signing up for $20 and getting $25 on Party, no strings attached. This is the only deal I have seen like this.
Check it out at http://www.pokerplayersalliance.org/

It's a free $5 + T-shirt and I also get the badge
Thats not a bad deal for filling out a 5 minute form and the newsletter is very good.
This will help keep online poker legal and from becoming a monopoly of a few companies

The newsletter explains which politicians have tried to pass legislation against poker, which support it, how to contact them, etc. Along with raids, state laws, how the charges turn out.
In my eyes this a must join, even if it cost $20, never mind for free +$$ and shirt.
The fact that a senator and a congressmen are trying to make online poker illegal should be enough to scare us all.
