Default Anyone have "enough" hands at micro-limits?

With the holiday crush and withdrawing as much as possible being over, I've decided to play in a more organized fashion. I took whatever I had left (had a losing streak after my last withdrawel, so only had about 30 bucks) and am playing the lowest limit on Hollywood, .15/.30. I started a fresh pokertracker DB (to speed it up lol) and decided to just play 10k hands and see what my stats look like.

My question is what is a reasonable win rate against truly terrible opposition. 60%+ to the flop and calling down all the way with bottom pair with an A and a K on the board... I've seen pots with all 10 players putting in 4 bets preflop! I've played pots where I actually had good enough IMMEDIATE odds to draw to a set! lol.

I'm not going to say what my stats look like for 2 reasons, so that I don't get flamed for bragging and because I only have 1700 hands so far. I was just wondering if anyone ever played a full 10k hands in one of the terrible games around here... and if so, what were your stats?

I played about 2k hands in these types of games and sustained a WR of about 25bb/100, but it's difficult to find those types of games at a decent limit

OT, but if your PTdb is slow consider picking up one of these. Of course, if you don't have enough ram or a slow CPU, fix that first.

I played on PS .02/.04 NL tables for 9300 hands, with VPIP of 20% and had a 21.50 BB/100 rate.

Thanks CJ. That's what my real NL stats looked like lol... I wish I could find NL games this bad. Put my daughter through college on 'em. Limit is definantly different.

Bonch... what would you consider enough ram or a slow CPU... 2.4 GHz, 384 MB ram. That's a pretty good deal for that HD though... may be what my next cashout is to cover

It's a P4 I'm guessing?
2.4Ghz in an athlon is smoking, in a p4, its subpar.

That's no where close to enough ram. I'd get a gig of cheaper stuff if you plan on running PT, a few tables, and music.

It's actually a Celeron.

A gig, eh? I was pretty poor when I bought this machine, but I thought I was getting plenty of ram lol. Pretty poor now too now that I think of it... have to do something about that lol.

I've been playing around on Stars .05/.10 limit, at 1K hands I had around 8 BB/100 which I posted the stats on here. I'm at almost 7K hands now and hovering right around 5-6 BB/100 although it's not very often that I see alot of people 3 betting or capping betting rounds. So maybe not as many maniacs on Stars as on Hollywood, but still not "enough" hands.

When I was playing .05/.1 limit on stars I found the best way to increase your bb/100 was to be picky about your tables. Pay attention to the tables with a high %pf and high avg pot. As I moved up in levels, these numbers don't seem to mean as much, but on the micro limits on stars, they can make a huge difference. There are more then enough fish playing these limits...you just need to find a table with a decent % of fish is all...

Actually, Its just the opposite... it means more the higher you move up.

and I have about 15k at .05/.10 and .25/.50.... and the best you are goingn to see is about 6-8/100... anything over that is not sustainable and is just a good run......

and the eaisest way to spped up your PT database is to first compact it regularly, and to convert to the SQL database system. And if you have less than 100k hands in your dbase, and you are worried about speed, there are other issues going on. First, dont display your stats inside of PT while its importing, thats jsut retarded slow. Then do a good anti-spy and virus scan. Use Yahoo's anti-spy, its free and very effective. its part of their toolbar, but is a stand alone .exe when installed.
