Doylesroom is not a new comer site.

It has been around for years, and has at least 3 skins on it's network.

I have played there for two years.

well. I Dont Beleive 100% of the words you 'sais' they said. But I beleive some lines of it.

If you never vertified what they asked then they have a right to make sure you dont withdraw unitl you vertify it for them. But how they handled thaty was unproffessionally.

Who cares? You can take it or leave it just sharing my experience.

El Viajero; yeah a bit of tooth kicked in. Doyles isn't really new but they are not an industry leader. And you're right, I should have left with my money after I verified my identity. I felt confident in the site again and they gave me a tiny comp so I figured I'd give them another chance even though they were completely rude and childish on the phone. My bad.

Uh Scotty that sounds nice and everything but think about something here; they aren't really securing my money or protecting me by making people jump through hoops to identify themselves. If I get scammed at a table with one person having 3 accounts or something that's just fine with the casino, it's only when they want to take their money out of the casino that they talk about security this and that. It doesn't really add up to give the excuse about protecting my money during a withdrawal either, as all of my firepay information matches up with my account information, is the same method by which I made the deposit, and let's not forget that these guys have CALLED ME on the phone several times during the course of this.

This wasn't about security, this was a delay tactic to try to keep my money in play. Plain and simple. Never had this problem at UB or Full Tilt.

As for the tournament thing yeah I understand the internet is not perfect. I can't tell you how many times I've had a nut hand that got folded out to some big bet because there was lag and it timed me out. I accept those risks. But when your network has a problem and drops like 60% of your players you do what a normal company would do; you pay out the tournaments based on the chip stack at the time it went down. I've seen freeroll sites do this even. You don't just tell the entirity of your clientele that they intentionally left the game, or just had bad ISPs and then keep the whole damn prize pool!

I do play live games, though not as much. They have issues all their own with players turning up cards by accident, people betting/checking out of turn, the dealer dealing your cards too high, cards being inadequately shuffled, all things of this nature. I also understand that if everyone at the table is doing their best to keep the integrity of the game, these things are forgivable. The same goes for online play; there are problems but if I feel that the site is doing the best they can to keep things in order then the occasional hazard can be overlooked. I just don't feel like this company did the best it could to make reasonable decisions under these circumstances.

I would challenge anyone that had my experiences to attempt to make excuses for a poker site. Have them hold on to your bankroll, call you a liar over the phone, tell you in chat that they can keep and confiscate your funds for any reason, lose your fax even though you have a confirmation, tell you that they sent you emails that they never did, and then keep the prize pools from several tournaments one of which you've earned a paying position at, then see if the "nature of the internet" gives any real consolation to your plight.

Dang Dude.... Straight callin the guy out

Ive never played at Doyles but I have had tourneys freeze up at other sited I play. Every time I used support they told me to check with my ISP, which has never been the problem in my case. All you can hope for is to get your buyin back.

Never seen any major complaints about doyles. First cash out can be slow, and it is not unusual for a site to do an ID check on first withdrawal.

If you are talking about a casino, I highly doubt it. Unless you mean angle shotting, but that isn't really a scam.

Thats why I hate to read posts like this. It really can turn others off to setting up an account there. His story seemed pretty negative but then someone else whos played there for a while comes in to set things straight. Maybe someone who plays there should email support with this post link so we can get the other side of the story. I was thinking about playing there but I dont want any big problems.
