Talking at the table really gets me when it's the guys NOT in the hand atm.

THe other thing is people bitching about beats, fuck am I sick of hearing how bad the beats are, then they go on to win 3 hands in a row with 2 overs vs a pair. LoL

I've noticed that people seem to get annoyed about people talking about bad beats...I'm wondering if we should remove the River Rats section to maintain peoples sanity around here?

Nah, it's a basic human need to complain when the universe screws you over. We have a place where that's contained - if we did away with it, the bad beat stories will start popping up in all the other forum areas.

Prohibition doesn't work!

One of my biggest pet peeves happens all the time in tournament play. Player A is on the ropes, forced to move all in before the flop, and draws two or more callers. Then one of the callers bets into a dry side pot without a made hand and forces all of the other callers to fold. The moron then misses his draw, and Player A triples up or more when his Ace high holds up.

I absolutely hate when someone starts ripping into loose rubbish players, saying why the hell you playing A7 for dickhead until they either completely tighten up or leave the table taking their chips with them.

I started warning people that I would report them for doing that.

Yeah... bluffing at dry sidepots and table coaches are my biggest peeves.

The best is when I'm in the BB and call a shortstack all-in getting like 4-1 or 5-1 odds with something like T8 and the table coach tries to give me crap for my terrible hand selection I also enjoy pointing out why the fish's play was correct... after all, if he gave the guy his whole stack when he hit his raggy 2 pair, he obviously was correct about his implied odds, wasn't he?
