Default Party Poker scam ?

Hey everyone,

I have been playing online poker for a year or so, and find it very exciting. I started playing on Party Poker and learned there. I then tried other online site and strangely enough, I made a lot more money on these other sites than PP. No funny or very unlucky rivers anymore... So I decided to go back to PP and see if it was just bad luck. I have been back on PP for a week now, and already experienced serious bad beats and again amazing unlucky rivers... I dunno about your experience with Party Poker, but I am getting fed up with them and their so called "fair cards dealing"... I mean, I know that we see a lot more hands in an online gaming than at a real table, which increases our bad beat or unlucky rivers odds... But come on, too many is too many with them !!!

What is your experience with them ? Am I alone here ?

Unfortunately no, there is a sucker born ever minute, but dozens of idiots are born every second.

I thought Party Poker was supposed to be one of the softer sites on the net for ring games. So, after a I won a MTT at UB, I took $500 of the winnings and moved it over to Party Poker. I got a 20% deposit bonus which cleared after 700 hands.

At the end of the first 700 hands, I was up to about $800 on deposit with the site, playing mostly $25 or $50 NL ring games. I then ran into some bad cards, but nothing out of the ordinary. My bankroll dropped to about $730, and I took a break from the site. I returned last week, played a $50 NL ring game, doubled up, and haven't been back since.

The bottom line for me is that I think that the competition at the .25/.50 NL games is softer than those that I was playing at Pokerstars, and I have no reason to question the integrity of the games. I'd play at Party more often, but I don't particularly care for the software.

I play on Party alot... like 4000+ hands a week. And yes, there are more bad beats but I think that is only because there are more bad players that will occassionally get lucky. However, in the last three weeks I turned a $150 deposit into near $500 with bonuses on .25/.50 and .50/1 tables. Tight poker and discipline - I cannot stress discipline enough. Whenever I break discipline, my stack is gone. It is my mantra.
