I'll reply with a stupid question and an answer. What is a browser based game? If it's what I'm thinking Yahoo games has Texas Hold 'Em..... How's that?

there are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions.. anyways.. what is so bad about dl'ing something like PS.net or something as opposed to a browser game? it would be faster in the long run

all the pokerroom skins can be played with a Java version, I think you can also play Pacific without a download.

There are java based games around that you just play for free in your browser...yahoo do em and so do quite a few other free online game sites.

I googled something like 'free online games' the other day, to try and find browser based card games I could play at work. I found loads, some you will need to sign up for free with an email address, but it's dead easy.

Couldn't play em at work tho...turns out all the clever firewall thingys block java games too...along with gambling, porn, chatrooms, and lots of other fun things....

So I end up actually doing some work.

I want a browser based game because I can't d'l the software for doyles or pokerstars on my comp at work so im stuck between a rock and a hard place

pokerroom as Phyto says, any of the B2B network works - 24h poker, Martins, No1poker etc etc....
