Absolute Tilt
Yeah, I tilted last night. The $200 bucks I had moved to Absolute is gone. 50% of the BR down the drain. I'm done with this site. I know that I have to blame myself for playing there. I should know better than to get myself stuck playing tables where the VP$IP is 33% or less everywhere from 0.25/0.5 to 1/2.
I suck for letting this happen, but I got hyped up in the bonus and it cost me.
I think the only reason I am posting this thread is to write this out so I don't just stick with a site to clear a bonus. This is the first site where I ever had a difficult time winning at these limits. Mostly because I was able to pick "squishy" tables at every other site. I stayed to get the bonus, but I got one I didn't expect and then I double killed myself by tilting away the last $50 bucks on the site last night.
Back to the grind to rebuild.
Lesson to self: No bonus is worth playing a venue that you cannot win no matter how good the bonus. You now have 200% of zero.

Absolute full ring is painful to play, mix of TAGs and TAPs. If you play there full 1/2 is not the place, the 6 max games or O8b are much better.
With the change is bonuses I am not sure whats up there, I can still see myself playing there after I finish my other bonuses mostly because of the RB stacking with bonii.
There are alot of grumblings on 2+2 about AP doing away with their RB or changing it to deduct bonuses, not sure if that is true or not.
Decoy, there is nothing wrong with playing for a bonus, just don't alter your game for it or move up limits.

I agree that there is nothing wrong with going after a bonus, but my ego got in the way. I thought, "there is no way that my 0.5/1 game played elsewhere isn't good enough to beat this one." Clearly I was wrong. I think I ran cold too because I did get a lot of bad beats and terrible flops, but I didn't control myself to play tighter till the opportunities opened up. I think that had I just said, not AP not now, and went to another site rather than trying to force through the bonus, when there are tons of others to go after, I would not be down 2 bills and probably would have cleared something else somewhere else. WillHill and Bet 365 were very soft to me and WillHill has the monthly 25 pound deal adn Bet 365 has the $100 Dec deal. I should have just done those again, and I think thats where I will pick up tonight or this weekend.

Although I haven't tried whoring just yet (just working on bulilding a decent BR for now) I was wondering if playing limit might be a better option for just clearing bonuses? Not that I'm saying that limit is any easier by any means but I was thinking you might not run the risk of blowing your whole stack on one hand (or BR over a few) to clear a bonus. For BR requirements I don't think I'd try .5/1 without 3K. If this is bad thinking let me know.

This was limit Pok's. It wouldn't be tilt if I just had a couple of NL bad beats.

Try Empire Poker. I cleared their bonus in no time on the 6-handed .5/1 limit tables and built a bank roll. I withdrew my initial deposit and bonus money and promptly lost my winnings in SnG and tourneys in PartyPoker-like style to bad beats and loose fish.
But the limit games were fun even though I don't like limit and don't play it much.

Yeah, I agree.
You should've stuck your head in your freezer and gone to sleep way before losing 50% of your BR.

you need $10 pots to get a point on AP, so playing anything less than 1/2 is not going to clear it fast, and even 1/2 is fairly slow.
