Anyone know a good game theory book?
I need something that I will understand so it has to be marketed toward laypeople

thanks for the quick replies. But, have you read them or is the suggestion based on having heard about them??? I'll assume Bonch has read a game theory book or 2 since a lot of his puzzle posts are game theory stuff, but I 'm looking for a suggestion based on experience

If you wanted to know about Game Theory solely in relation to poker then this book may not be worth reading, however it is well worth reading imo. I did a degree in Biology, but I am sure it is easily understandable by an intelligent layman.

"Intro to Game Theory" is the only book that I actually own on game theory so my opinion is quite biased. For somebody who is new to Game Theory, it's a good book IMO. It helped me grasp the concept, and I'm half retarted.

thanks Rog, that does seem to be the best book of the ones mentioned (for what I am looking for) except for the price tag, $50

Definitely check your local library, and the district too. I was suprised that they actually had 3-4 good books on the subject.
EDIT: Yes, I've read them.
