Aside from the fact that I have placed in an MTT, I feel like I could have written this post the way this week was.
Take yesterday. If these two things hadn't happened, I probably would have gone on to make a pretty decent profit for the day with the position I would have been in. These were 45 person SNGs.
#1: PF raise with KK of 4XBB when BB=100. One caller. Flop comes junk, but 2 hearts. Other guy goes all in, I call. He flips of 5h7h! Qh on river, I'm crippled.
#2: After flop I have TPTK, and another guy goes all in on a junk board. He flips over 33, and there was no 3 on board. 3 on river.
This is just two examples, but it really is representative of the whole week. Never have I been victimized by so many gutshots and 2 or 3 outers on the river. Then, it had gotten so bad that I did what I pride myself on never doing, changing my play because I'm scared of getting hosed again. So, later in the day, I got bluffed out of a pot when 3 to a flush came on board.
I am going to try one more 45 person SNG right now and then, regardless of the outcome, I'm off for the weekend.
EDIT: And this one ends when KK meets AA. I mean, FUCK!!!
