Default Pokerstars!

Well thanks to some new deposit options I've been able to play at Stars for the last couple of nights, and even tho I'm showing a very small profit after a few SNGs, I'm not sure how long my bankroll is gonna last.....

I heard that the players are much better and it certainly seems that way. I've only played a few SNGs so far but they seem much much tighter, no idiots going all-in with crap, and most of the bust outs have been a good hand running into a better hand. I've hardly seen anyone bust out with some crazy play and thought 'what were you doing there?' And this is only $5 SNGs! I normally play $10, but I'm a bit scared to on Stars....

They all just seem to be super tight, 8 or 9 ppl left with the blinds 50/100 or 75/150. In one last night there were still 9 people left and the blinds 100/200 with antes!!

Are they all like this on Pokerstars?! Would be grateful for some comments, cos i might go back to somewhere easier and build up my bankroll and skills more before taking on all these really good players.

I dread to think what the higher buy-in ones must be like!

lol, i dont know which ones you're playing, or perhaps the better explanation, where you've played previously . most of the ones i play are pretty loose, and are usually down to 4 or 5 by the time blinds are 100-200...

i agree that the play overall is better on stars though, and i think playing there will make you a better player

as far as your bankroll surviving, don't worry about that. just take the advice of people on here and you should be fine

good luck

Thanks NU2! Hehehe you're right, I'm starting to see the other places I've played at in a different light! Was beginning to think I was a bit of a superstar, cos I've been raping the $10 SNGs on Poker Room and Pacific....but obviously those sites were creating a false impression!!

haha, youre welcome. but, if you were beating those games consistently then you got some skillz. you have to be decent to consistently win anywhere, its just a bit tougher on stars...IMO
