Is it possible to be to good for low-limit?
I have been playing NL holdem for about 2 years. I have played at low limit 0,25-0,50$ and have earned about 2000$ a month. I have tried a couple of times to go up in blinds but every time I do that I earn a little or get brake even, so I have been playing the low-limit.
the thing is, I didint play any poker the last month instead I read a lot of books and worked a lot, but now when I've got the time to play I can't earn anything on 0,25-0,50$, and I can't understand what I do wrong.
Is it possible that I play to fancy and trying to apply several advanced techniques on the poor opponents who play there without really know it?
Have anyone else experinced the same thing?
I played a 2-4$ last week which I did pretty good, but after a bad beat I lost 600$ and then I got afraid of it..
Should I play my low-limit or should I try to play 2-4$?
I need some advice from some experts!
:good: Cheers

huh...
Were you averaging $2k a month?
Howe many hands a month were you playing?
How many tables did you have open?
I don't quite understand. To earn 2k a month at that level (assuming 4bb/100) needs about 100000 hands.. Even if your doing 8bb/100 ( very difficult) then you need 50k a month.
I know some pple do this - but if you do play this much (and returned to it at that hand rate) - you should have smoothed out any variance at the low limits and you should still be winning.
By and large the higher you go in NL the fewer tables you can play - you have to watch the table very closely.
Even at .5/1 and 1/2 NL you're really still playing ABC poker with a bit of flourish here and there...

Yes I play a lot, and I really mean a lot. Several hours a day, about 5-6 days a week. I always have 5 tables open at the same time.
I talked to another guy which play like I do but even more, he said there was no point to go up for him, he said he makes more money at 0,25-0,50$ then he does if he plays the higher limits.
I really want to go up to the next level. I always play with a limited bankroll (even if I win a lot, I'm always fast to cash it out).
What is your best advice to me when it comes to climb the blinds?
Can you recommend any good books (NL books)? (I have only read Super System 2, Small stakes holdem, and Phil Hellmuths NL)
I'm very thankful for any help with this.

yes and no. when i play at prima I use it, but most of the time I play at another small network, which poker tracker don't support, but I have been reading my hand history there manually, over and over again, and I can't figure out whats wrong..

bl;ind rage
at 0.5/1 ( if that your problem area) how often do you attack blinds? . When the WSD figure drops for a table you really ned to chip away endlessly at the blinds.
If you're just waiting for good hands - then youl'' break even (because this is what everyone else is doing...)
