Default Why buy Poker Tracker??

I have downloaded the demo and auto imported the maximum amount of hands for the demo, I have toyed around with some of the features, it is a little difficult to figure out what they all do. I have not figured out what the tourney time feature is yet or if it for live or if it is for playback. I have tried the gametime and HUd add-on but have not been able to figure those out, please give me the pluses that you have found as to why i should by this program thanks!!!

poker is about pushing edges. Pokertacker gives you a major edge in anaylsing peolpes game virtually in real time and also your own game retrospectively.

It is complicated to use but as you move up limits its use becomes commonplace. If you don't use it you are at a disadvantage.

If you cant use it - suits me

yes.. it is probably better to invest $55 in pokertracker than invest it in your BR. If youve only got a $50 br then build it up on the pennies/freerolls and when you hit $100- buy PT.

Ive been playing around with it a little more today, do you use the default rules for rating players or have you customized rules for yourself?

The demo version is the same as the full version, with the exception of only being able to import 1000 hands.

The program stores alot of info, and alot of it can be overwhelming. Just digest a little bit at a time, you'll begin to notice alot of patterns in your play, over-under playing certain hands aswell as patterns in your opponents play.

I still use the default rules for auto-rating players, I usually only look at the key numbers VPIP, PFR and to a lesser extent AF.
