Well I made a few minor mishaps already...

The vote that says missy is actually mine

and then I changed my mind after voting

If only one ace up behind you, there are 3 aces left in the deck and he has two down cards so it's 6/46 odds of him having split aces. If there are two aces behind you, then there are 4 down cards and 2 aces left in the deck, so 8/46 that someone has split aces.

Edit: bwahahaha, abusing moderator privileges to fix my vote

A and A

yeah its more likely someone has AA(not much though) but there chances of improving are lessened.

Also people are less likely to call with AQT type hands if they see a dead Ace. If they think they are live they might call

I prefer AA

With 1 A up you may have feer possibility to be facing a pocket A thats true. But its marginal... (around 12% VS 16%)

However if one of them have AA with 2 A up, he will be more agressive to avoid other player of hitting a set or 2 pairs, knowing only one A left in the deck to draw his own set. Will be easier for you to drop you Ks if one of them really represent As. AA vs KK could be very painfull in stud if you both hit 2 pairs.

I should have told you not to respond for a while.

You got the question right, but arrived at a different answer than I was expecting.

The point I was trying to get to is that if two people have Aces showing, it is actually MORE likely you are against a pair of aces from one of them than if just one had an ace showing.
