Alright folks, I decided to review this site based on my experiences.
1. I joined this site for a free license to Pokertracker, via a special offer through PSO. I needed to clear 400
PR points to get it. I deposited 300$ into my account and also got a 40% deposit bonus, so 120$ I needed to clear.
-originally you got 1 point for every dollar of rake taken at ring games, this was changed recently to getting 0.7 points for every dollar taken with partial points. This makes their bonuses among the most difficult to clear, up there with FullTilt and Hollywood.
-The pokertracker bonus was easy to clear, I did it in a few days
-their deposit bonus was hard for me to clear, I played mainly at .5/1 or 1/2 HE. I probably needed to play 4-5k hands to clear the bonus.
-their rake structure on ring games is among the worst that I have seen, it really rewards players to try and make the pots as big as possible. Medium to small sized pots get hit for about 10% rake, it is really bad.
2. The software
The graphics are decent when you turn off the gay avatars, but then again who really cares about graphics in poker. The software is bad in terms of stability, people get disconnected more than anywhere else I have seen and the site often freezes up. It also has severe lag, so there are times when you have no idea where your money is. If you cash out at one table and check your account it can take up to an hour before that money is back in your account. It also doesn't tell you exactly how many points you have, again there is a 12+ hour delay, which complicates bonus clearing.
The software does allow for good stat tracking though, and it integrates automatically with pokertracker which is nice.
3. The games
They are soft, really soft for the most part. I had a terrible run while I was at the site, but still made a slight profit, that being said if you hate variance these terrible players are all experts at dishing out the bad beats, nothing you can do about it. I am not sure that the softness of the games really makes up for the rake though.
Hold'em is always busy, though sometimes the games tighten up. I've seen tables that 90% of the players average seeing the flop, but I've also seen those were only 25% see the flop. Game selection is the key.
I like O8b, but the tables are rarely busy on
PR, again these players are terrible. My sample size is small with O8b there, but the games are easy to crush. The rake isn't as big of a deal since the pots are usually much larger.
4. The people
Alot of assholes on that play there, for some reason they allow talking in foreign languages and they also allow for swearing at the tables. This doesn't sit well with me, I don't see why this would be allowed and speaks volumes for the dirt bags who run the site.
5. Support
Awful, the site went down for a few hours and all my money went missing. I emailed support and 3 days later I got the standard auto-reply. I just cashed out, so I'll see how long that takes.
Overall, I found this site awful. Now if I had kept my standard win rates there I may not have been so jaded, but I still tried to keep an open mind. The management changed the rake structure after I started, they also made points more difficult to earn. The player points are awful aswell they do very little. All and all this is the worst site I've played on, and I would never go back.
pros: really weak players, good graphics, easy to multi-table, no need to download software and good stats
cons: rude players, buggy software, poor site stability, awful rake structure, poor point structure, terrible support, bonuses are difficult to clear, points are nearly useless and the admistration keeps changing things to make playing there more difficult.
