Default How many times I hit quads

Iv just realized iv hit quads so many times. Iv been playing avrage of 100 hands a day for a year. Id say iv hit four of kind 10 - 12 times. And im extreamly tight, so it aint like i see many hands. Iv only hit 2 royal flushes in the same time period.

Not sure what are the odds, but I hit a lot too...

I think it's normal... I hit twice in a row once. 10s and As if I remember.

Default quads

if you play everything the chance of hitting quads is about 1 in 400.

If you play most pp it drops to about 1/1000.

If you're tight (aggressive i.e not going to sd) you're looking at 1 in 3000-4000.

You don't usually make money with quads but yesterday this happened to me at 1/2:

Victim1:99
Victim 2: K high
Me:8 3 os (BB)

flop:
933
checked all round
turn 3 I Opened (I didnt think there was anything out there - no preflop raises) - V1 was very passive

River A: Victim 2 got a rush of esp and decided we were bluffing and went all-in I followed ...Victim 1 must have thought his boat had come in - it had- it was called the Titanic....

Similar scenario happened to me once ... except I was victim #1
Learned a lesson about slow playing in NL that day.
