Default PS FPPvsRake mistake...

I noticed that PS has a problem with their FPP won for hands raked...at the .25/.50 level, you get a point anytime the rake reaches .50 or better, however the hands only get raked if the pot reaches $5 or higher...and max rake is $.25...so there is no way to earn FPP at this level, but they make it seem like it is possible...I thought it was odd.

no it works, but only when a pot reaches 10$ or a .50$ rake, this doesn't happen often at these levels however. You might get 1 or 2 FPP/session

Actually, I jst reread the page...max rake at these tables is $1.00, but at a $20 pot, the rake is still $.25. What would it take at these limits to get to a $20 pot. I've seen a $6 pot a few times...maybe a little higher, but these guys are tight/passive (so far).

You sure Steve-O? I don't think PS gives partial points unless they just changed it (or were you joking around?)

Trons, again unless they changed it in the last few weeks the max rake on the .25/.5 is 1$, however that would be one crazy pot with 40 BB to make 20$ to get the max rake. When I played those limits I did rarely get a FPP, but again that is rare.

You need to get a 10$ pot for .50$ rake, that takes a few people 3 and 4 betting the turn and river.

Am I reading the page wrong?

http://www.pokerstars.com/rake.html shows .25 across the board for that level.

Keep in mind, at this level, I'm not looking to win FPP, I'm looking to increase my BR (I'm up to $121 right now)

yes, you are reading it wrong, it means 25c is raked from the pot at that level.

16$ pot

25c when the pot reaches $5
another 25c at $10
and another 25c at $15 for a total rake of 75c.

Thanks for clearing that up beavis...I thought PS was really confused for a moment . Had I waited till today to ask this question, I would have known the answer. Saw (was involved in) a pot that broke $10...
