Default Rakeback vs. Deposit Bonus

I've been careening around the Internet trying to find the best deal on deposit bonuses and rakebacks. To be honest I'm a little confused. Some of you "real" players have any advice on where to play to get the best rakeback or deposit. I play .50/1.00 mostly, a little higher at times. I also play a couple of hours a day. Thanks in advance.

you can prop and get 100% + rakeback, there is a thread under promotoions, i personally like getting rake back because you can get that for lifetime where as depo bonus once you clear it, its done. not to sure what the best depo bonus is around either i know hollywood has 500% but i dont know if u could clear it at .5/1

I'm not sure if you know this already, but I'll state it just in case.

The majority of rakeback programs aren't offered by the online poker room themselves, but through an affiliate that promotes the room(s) and earns a fee or commission.

In this sense then, your goal is to find the best deposit bonus available and then search for a rakeback program offered through it.

Currently, some of the better deposit bonuses exist for Noble Poker, Hollywood Poker, and Full Tilt Poker. I try searching for each of those poker rooms with the word "rakeback" to see if there are any rakeback programs available for these rooms.

For example, go to google and type "Noble Poker rakeback" or "Noble Poker" "rakeback" --> exactly with quotations.

Hope that helps,

Jason

Default deposit bonuses

Actually I hate to disagree but Noble Poker, Hollywood Poker, and Full Tilt Poker. are amongst the most difficult to clear deposit bonuses on the net.

Go to www.bonuswhores.com

you'll get everything you need to know there...

Deme is right. even though they give the give the BIGGEST bonuses they are tough to clear.

A site giving 25% but easy to clear is actually more profitable.

But it depends on your win rate at the big bionus sites... given my expected WR at 1/2-2/4, I estimate, with both 500% bonii, I should be able to clear around $3,500 in profit over the course of the bonus... thats if this slide I'm on ever ends (3.5/100 down to .44/100)

Also choose your rakeback site wisely. Several of my friends have been ripped off by rakeback affiliates.

I was mostly going for biggest bonuses, as someone else mentioned, not easiest to clear.

As far as the stability of rakeback programs goes, I totally agree. It's best not to even involve a third party at all and deal directly with the poker room themselves. Problem with that is very few poker rooms offer a rakeback program themselves.

The only one that I can think of is True Poker; it's offered through their affiliates, but run by the True Poker with the rake going directly into your player account.

three rules to follow:

1. almost all bonuses are better than rakeback (unless you play like 5/10 6max or higher - then its close/dependent on site)

2. always do the fastest clear rate rather than biggest bonus - why go for a $500 bonus that will take you 3 months to clear when you can do five $100 bonuses in a month?

3. pwn sites

I'm on a site with a 100% deposit bonus up to $1000, and it works like FTP's where you get it in chunks of $20 or more paid weekly...but like FTP, it works out to about $20 xtra per 100 raked hands. My kickback last month was $320 which was nice.
