So i log onto paradise poker to see that tankbiggs332 (new member of this forum) is playing in the $30 rebuy 50k guranteed and it is down to 40. I come to root him on, considering how big this is. $12,000 for first, he is 14th in chips and is already guranteed $100 or so.

So i am watching, and i am noticing that he is playing really really tight, folding really quickly every hand. This goes on for about 10 minutes, until i finally realize, this just cannot be him. He must be sitting out!!

So now im wondering, did he fall asleep at the computer, or did he just decide the tournament wasn't important enough and go to bed.

Either way, WTF!!!

Well, hes still in it. Hes blinded down to 38,000 with 32 left. Maybe this is his strategy, no way to make a dumb call or bad play this way.

Well, he got 20th. Maybe it was a good strategy. Next time you make the final 10% of a big mtt, just remember, it may be better to sleep through it then to actually play.

errrr yeah.... I've actually cashed on a couple occasions by either losing my connection or getting sick and going to bed, just to wake up 2 hours later, in the money, and do something stupid and get bounced on a pay bubble.

This is actually the guy that bought my TEC, I have seen him playing $5/$10 NL cash games.

I have seen people do the same thing in single and multi-table games on Party Poker. Usually, someone will bring it up in a chat message and people usually tighten up to avoid being outlasted by the guy sitting out

All I have to say about this guy is that he was a pretty incredible heads up player

Heck... maybe he was just waiting for Aces or Kings and hope to double up... then his folding could have gotten him another coupla spots
