Interesting E-Mail

Here is an E-mail I recieved from a reliable source asking my opinion on this matter. I was wondering if any of you have heard of this? definetly check out the website because I hate to say it but it looks legit. But of course I have my doubts.

I WILL TRY TO GET THE POKER INDUSTRY TO BRING THESE DEVICES TO THE
ATTENTION OF OTHER PLAYERS. IF YOU ARE SURE THEY DONT WORK BRING THIS
TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR PLAYERS. WRITE AN EXPOSE OF THE FALSE CHEATING DEVICES. YOUR EDITOR SHOULD LET YOU WRITE ABOUT THIS.
I HOPE YOU WILL DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR THE PLYERS.

Thanks for the tip. There may well be an article here. It would be on the different methods for scamming the public that people can invent whenever there is a boon. I'd like to know where these ads are and I may well follow up to do such an article.

I mean their describng the coolest thing ever, but never say anything other than its a device or software... I mean huh?

If their refering ot Pokeredge or Prophecy, yeah they exist and are in current use. RNG crackers are fabled to exist, but nobodies every seen one (

Kinda get the feeling your trying to get a big response, then show us its about PT.

no, this is serious its not some AHA it was this all along.

I just got this e-mail from as I said a reliable poker community source, and was wondeing if anyone has heard about this before.

nothing to do with PT just with what it says.

i highly doubt if anyone has poker cheats, and if they do, they certainly wouldn't share them on a website. think about it, if you can cheat the 100/200 game at pokerstars, why the hell would you risk putting your stuff up on a website to make a marginal amount of money when you could be raking in 2-3 BB/100 at the biggest game on the web. it makes no sense for them to sell this software (which could be purchased by the poker sites themselves and then reverse engineered to be prevented) and possibly face jailtime.

But What is it??? theres no meat there, jsut some wild claims about "cheating software". Yeah, ok, PE is cheating, and technicaly Party considers PT to be cheating.

And the reason people with computer experience have refused to answer your emails Numbskull (whoever you are) is that you TYPE IN ALL CAPS.

DO these app's exist? Possibly. Do I care? Not really. I'm playing within my limits, My one random encouonter with a player running such software wouldn't hit me that hard, anways PT eventually would notice the high WSD% and 100% W$SD, mixed with very very odd PF play. And Party would soon enough pick up on this (they are the supposed leaders in this type of thing) scan for it, and nail it. I'm not worried. There are cheats out there but there are also watchdogs.

And Yes Party (and PS and UB and others) do this type of thing. Party is goign public, IPO, real soon, and they need the type of guranteed security required for stable prices.

I dunno steve, just a really vague thing here.....
