measly $50. But I was real happy with my performance and there was no bad beat to eliminate me 29th out of 1350 definetly my best large field tournament other than the PPM qualifier that had like 2K people and i finished 17th with top 14 getting the $12,600 package. Lost AA vs 22 in that one, limit hold em. 17th got the shaft there too

I have 55 in 4th position with 3k/6k blinds +300 ante. my stack is about 43K and the table has been very foldy. I have about 14 more hands before doubling up is meaningless so I took a shot with presto.

I move all in, yes i could have waited but 10th was like $100 29th is $50 I am looking for top 5 here not sneak down for another $10. 9 times out of 10 I fold but earlier in this same round I folded KQ and the hand previous I folded AT instead of trying to pick up the blinds.

SB calls with 88, damnit, he took so long to call to because I had been ubertight showing only KK AK JJ and AQ vs a small stack all in along with 2 uncalled raises.

flop comes 3 clubs and he doesn't have one and yours truly does but alas the turn is a blank and the river is the other 8.

But like I said I played in my opinion almost flawlessly throughout, picked my spots and was all-in only as a favorite or a coin flip except for the last hand. If I had gotten 10th I would have been just as happy

probably my second best tournament ever as far as perfect play goes.

You folded KQ and AT with less than 10BBs?

That is just the way I like my women, weak and tight.

i felt i could get a better hand, which i did, before it was desperation time.

KQ was UTG and AT was the previous hand, the AT I could have pushed but I don't like putting my tourney at risk with AT or KQ, 55 I'll do it. actually i would have lost both hands since they both went to showdown from pre-flop all-ins.

So my instincts were correct.
