Default Can't win the friggin' $1 45 player SNG's...

I've placed:

1/45 (the first SNG I played)
6/45
6/45
13/45
27/45
3/45
5/45
14/45
3/45
10/45
16/45
3/45

The top 7 pay, and while I'm doing pretty well, I can't seem to place higher than 3rd (the 1st one I had such a high chip count going into the final 3 it was almost impossible to lose). I just seem to be losing all the coin-flips when in the top 3. Hands like K4o vs. 78s, and I'll lose. 77 vs. A8s I'll lose. Whats the best strategy when down to the final 3? I am almost always the aggressor into the pots, and am usually the first one going all-in.

The rake on those things sucks.

If you're really just losing coinflips keep fighting through it. You'll win your fair share eventually.

I know, but it's all I can really play for now. I'm just using some freeroll money (around $15) for now. Hopefully, I'll win a few, then can move to the $5 single table SNG.

Man, that ITM is insane, see my threads on the 3 tables, I have had a similar run them. Why are you complaining, in these things, winning isnt the goal, taking top three is. Winning is jsut the icing on the cake. I think winner only gets 2x third, so the goal is to get to third, and be happy with that (ROI wise), and then go for the win. They have really designed their 3 and 5 table SNG Pay outs in 'teirs', where there are a couple distinct bubbles in each SNG.

With your success in these things (and yes, guesstimating you have a 60% ITM, is a sucess, dunno what your ROI is though) you should do better in the 3 tables, less players means less suckout chances (IMHO)

Trust me, play extremely tight. In one SNG, when I made the final table, I had played something like 3/65 pots that were not my BB or SB. People will pay you when you make a hand. Of course, alter your play here and there, but I usually only play top 2 tier hands.
