Default How Much did You Lose?

On the average how much did you lose before you became a consistent winner at online poker?

It was actually a lot less than 50, but since that's the lowest choice you gave me, I'll take it.

Around $90,000 (requested stats from PS). Keep in mind I spend all my earnings on trying to move up or enter expensive tournaments. So I'm actually still up, but by definition I wouldn't be 'consistent' since I spend it all on trying to move up. No point in grinding if I don't need it. Haven't played in a while though due to social stuff.

I can't pick one of those choices because I played for quite a while live before moving to online. I put $300 into Partypoker and well the rest is history. I have never put more money online and have used that initial 300 to build bankrolls on different sites. I actually have money on 10 sites at the moment.

Ups and downs, absolutely. But I have never gone broke and that would be quite impossible now.

Actually I really never lost when i started out, save my first game but if you took my first 10 sessions I would probably be a winner.

****NOTE***** I played once got killed and spent about a month reading and learning and playing play money before session 2. I HATE TO LOSE! whether its a $1 tournament or a 75/150 game I hate losing!!!!

$0. I won $7 in a freeroll, made that up to $50, then lost $40 of that. My goal is to become a millionare without ever putting a dime of my own online..... .

it is better to make $1 from 1000 people working for you than making $1000 working for yourself.

Can't remember who said that but joe's comment made me think of it

$50 exactly in about 3 hours. Then put in another $50 and that was it.

Currently $7086 in profit.

Terrifying to think how much turnover there has been in there though.

I wouldn't have kept playing this game if I'd ever gone into the hole. For a long time, I just had this envelope full of my winnings and that never ran empty.
