Here is the schedule for the WCOOP on
Pokerstars this year. Last year I only played the main event - $2,500 buyin , it was out of 831 players and the top 81 got paid. I busted out in 93rd place when I went allin with QQ preflop and got called by KJ. He hit his K and I was out - first place took home about $575,000.
This year I plan to play the matchplay heads up event $200, the Holdem NL $1000 and will play the satellites for the $2,500 buyin (that's how I played it last year by winning a satellite for it). It was Johnny Bax and me heads up and I won, he won a bracelet at the WSOP this year so it made my win a little sweeter I guess even though it was only a satellite.
I'm really looking forward to the heads up tournament, playing in the World Cup of Poker and getting to the quarterfinals really helped my heads up match play.
PS - As you guys know, I grind it out at
Partypoker 90% of the time where my nick is EAMelguizo. But I will play
pokerstars for the WCOOP where my nick on that site is Enrique.
Play the satellites and good luck.
