tourney report!
first live tourney that wasnt a freeroll at some club in NJ. its long sorry and im excited and suck at writing.
decided to go to spankys at the last second. $30 buy in $20 unlimited rebuys. start with 1k rebuys are 1k each and add on is $20 for 1k......... lol ok.... anyway
my table selection fucking sucked. 2 tables 15 players. i got the 2 best people on my left. the very 1st hand a fishy looking player makes it 350! im sb with AQc blinds 25/50.... i folded.......... he said later he had 99. next hand guy goes 250 99 fish calls i call with 56s on button. flop comes K34 i go all in out of turn lol (nobody caught it) fish thinks for way too long and finally calls with KQ. turn brings 4th spade so i have 15 outs and river blanks. i rebuy for $20 back to 1k.
dont remember the hands exactly. i played very agro. pushed with a lot of hands lol. the guys on my left were getting annoyed. i won 2 flips 55 v a7 and 99 v aq. i induced a bluff with TP and TT pushed when i had AA. also i picked up a lot of pots and was at T6600 for the 1st break. didnt take the add on......... lol
i got up to about 7500 when we combined tables and i got another bad draw. a known fish was on my left and a very solid guy on my right. i didnt play a hand for like the whole hour. i think i stole twice and thats about it. CO limped i limped with J9s and fish checked. flop came Q7x 2 spades i checked fish checked solid guy thought he was gonna get away with a 475 bet and i raised to 1600 he folded (blinds 150/300) i woulda raised there with any2. couple people bust and we are down to 6 and at the 2nd break. i have like 6k didnt play many hands at all during that hour
the fish was funny. i was listening to him talk earlier before the tourney. i wish i had it recorded it was hilarious. he had fucking hat and shades on and he was like 30 and said the dumbest shit the whole tourney. ''the price of poker has just went up boys'' and all this bs. he was talking earlier about a previous tourney where he limped with AK some guy pushed and he folded! rofl
anyway. we are 6 handed with 2 big fish 1 solid 1 past winner and 1 weak/tight guy. i still wasnt getting any hands and stole a couple. the 1st hand the solid guy pushes for 4200 and i had AT on bb i folded.............. didnt have much read on him yet and it was 75% of my stack. still folding a lot way too much. i was very tight and was getting short only had like 4k. i had like 4k or something and made a mistake with my raise. i was sb and raised 1600 on top meant 1600 total lol. blinds 300/600 i raised to 2200 with 57 and had 2k left over lol the fish took like 5 minutes and finally folded. he wasnt thinking about pushing he was thinking about calling lol. ''if i called there he was gonna move in for 2k on the flop'' like 20 mins later the solid guy pushes again and i wake up with AJs..... and i folded it again! i dno i wish i knew what he had didnt get a chance to ask it took me a while to fold it. next hand i go 1600 blinds 300/600 with 56c solid pushes for just a tad too much and i have to fold argh lol. im down to like 3k. i get 99 utg and push no calls. i fold on bb and sb and they fold to me on button i got J4 and 4k blinds 400/800 the fucking retarded fish who folds AK calls with QT? flop Txx turn J bang shipped. the fish gets a little annoyed lol. he didnt understand what i was doing i didnt say anything i was just laughing at him when he looks at me with his fucking dark huge ass sunglasses and hat lol. now im at like 8k. couple hands later CO raises i have AK and push fish calls and CO calls! CO barely has me covered they turn up JJ and 55. flop comes Axx! bam and i held up and took down the huuge pot.
so i have about 24k 2nd has 15k 3rd and 4th have around 2k each. top 2 pay. 1st hand i raise with 89s short stack has K8 and he wins. next hand i raise with TT and short stack calls with J9 and spikes a J on river. next hand i push with K8 and not so short stack calls with KJ! i hit a lovely 8 on the river though and theres 3 left. BB is 1200 and sb pushes for 1600 total i dont even look and call turns out i have 77 but he has AJ flop comes 77x lol GG. so i have like 25k and he has 15k with blinds 600/1200 i offer him some retarded chop hoping he accepts. 1st is 541 2nd is 270 i say 480/320 w/e he turns it down says lets play lol. 1st hand i ask how much he has and push he folds. 2nd hand he folds to me. 3rd hand i push with a7 he insta calls with Q9? lol q6xxx :'( next hand i fucking read him for a strong hand after he limps but i push anyway with 78 he flips AQ and i hit 2 pair! next hand i push with AQ he calls with K9 and thats all she wrote.
$541 for first in for $50 and tipped $20 is that too much? no rake on tournies there how great is that
i played very agro i didnt see over 5 flops without being all in whole tourney
