How do you choose how many hands to buy?

Hey I was wondering how you make your mind up how many hands you should buy from a hands site? I've been looking at Poker Hand Histories | HHSmithy.com and they have alot of hands but I'm trying to figure out what a good number to buy would be to give me an idea of the type of players I'm playing against!
