So I've been hosting a tournament at my home for a few years, we do a 10 week season, and the way we keep score is if there are 16 players 1st place gets 16 points, 10 players 1st gets 10 points and so on.We also allow players to miss up to 3 games and still be eligable for the final table. In order to do this we let everyone drop their 3 worst scores, so only 7 games are counted. Well we are in week 7 and I realize that there are 3 of us that don't have any bad scores, so we could possibly end up dropping 16, 20, and 22 . While I don't mind some dropping their 0's I have a problem with others dropping only 6, 3, and 5 allowing them to possiby to take the lead at the end of the 10 games, and not reflecting their total body of work throughout the season.Anybody got any ideas?

Easy. Use the same point systems but don't let people drop their 0's or their lowest scores. This rewards people for coming to your game and makes them come, in their minds, to get the points. Boom.
