Hello-
I am a journalist trying to do an article on the DOJ's actions on Black Friday. I'd like to showcase how wrong-headed it is to deny Americans a chance to practice their chosen craft -- and to me, one that takes a lot of skill. I want to get the human side of the equation in addition to lambasting the govt's behavior. What I'm looking for is American online poker players (or recent exiles) who have been doing it for at least a couple years and for whom this was their main form of income.
This story is for an alt-weekly, and may be syndicated to other papers. I'm looking to do phone interviews with most people, and hopefully meet in-person with at least one person who lives in/around Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh or Detroit, with the possibility of joining them for a live casino visit (for additional color). If you are interested in appearing in this article and helping shine a light on this ridiculous government crackdown please contact me at soundjudge [at] gmail .com.
Thanks for you help.
