    Default One pair kickers

    Ok i have a given scenario here:

    hand 1: K7

    hand 2: KQ

    cards on table 8 3 3 A 2

    question: who would win?

    i thought hand 2 would win, given one pair and the 3 highest kickers (3 3 A K Q) vs (3 3 A K 8) but apparently my friend thinks it would be a split pot situation as only one kicker is taken into account? but i though you had to make the best possible hand out of 5 cards. An answer to this question would be appreciated!

    The Hand KQ defenitly win if it comes to showdown.
