This hand is looking like a fold given the insta call from MP2 and insta shove from CO. Insta-fold against TAGs and Rocks but can you lay it down against 2 maniacs???. When it came back to me I looked at it as being a fold or shove. I shoved.

We want the -EV calls. We win more % of the time.

2 Maniacs? Yeah, I'm calling. Note that we really only have to win against MP2 to gain chips. If we had a TP type hand I'd like this much less as we would have blockers to TP. We could also be up against combo draws, which is 'okay' since we're flipping. Even if we lose here a fair amount, just remember it's okay not to win every hand.
A high VPIP alone doesn't indicate maniacs, high PFR and postflop aggression are really what makes a maniac a maniac.Last edited by KnightofNarg; 07-25-2011 at 06:45 AM.

Speaking of Holdem Manager

I wonder what it says about me that makes people 3bet and stone cold bluff me a lot.
Seem to be forced into life and death decisions a lot.
I flopped s set and he shoved with a pair .. Then AQ I raised 4xbb .. shoved back at with A 10 by a medium stack ... flopped a straight and reraised back and forth to all in agaisnt a 2nd pair.
Has truly got me stuffed but something is telling people to bet me off the pots.

VPIP = % of hands they voluntarily put money in preflop
PFR = % of hands they raise preflop
AFQ = % of the time they are aggressive postflop
