Default Amateur/Professional poker players please read.

Hi I am new to the forum but not new to poker. I was just looking for some advice for the more serious poker players out there. I am 23 and have decided to pursue the life of a professional poker player. Im headed to vegas with a $3500 bankroll here in a few weeks and was just looking for some pointers, like from which levels to play to which casinos. Basically any advice would be helpful thanks.

    Is it a joke?

If not, the only advice I can give you is don't do it. Finish college, find a job, or if you have one, by all means do not quit it. You are not ready to become a professional poker player (it's an understatement). If you were, you wouldn't be asking these questions.

Ok, I'll answer just one of them: you are not sufficiently rolled even for the smallest stakes.

Woah, didn't notice this one...Most professional poker players are proven winners with a bankroll of at least 50-100 buyins and also some separate cash to live on for about six months. I agree 100% with Sergey, you only have 17.5 Buyins for 1/2NL.

I did the same thing first day MGM sat there for six hours finally check raised a all in and made some money. Then i realized i just wasted six hours and if i do that everyday i am not going to get to experiance much of vegas sitting at a table all day. Wanted to play poker just to much to do in vegas to sit patiently. i recommend playing downtown around gold nugget stakes are lower and buffets cheaper. Learned to play craps at binions on new years 2010. 3$ min what a streak gf rolled 27 times no crap i rolled right after 18 times no crap what fun.

The above post has to be spam, or the retarded post of the day.

As for the original post, good luck man, life experiences are fantastic. Enjoy your time, and make sure you can afford your flight back to reality.
