    Thumbs up Poker Betting Etiquette Please Help!

    Me and my mate had a disagreement over betting. My mate placed the initial bet of £25.

    My Mate (Initial Bet): £25

    Me (Called): £25

    Mate (Incorrect Raise): £25

    As he placed the initial bet and I called then as far as I'm concerned betting is over and he isn't allowed to raise.

    Am I correct in saying betting would be over as soon as I called?

    If I decide to raise then he would be allowd to re raise me.

    I'm new to poker so is this correct?

    We placed a cap of 3 raises.

    your mate is a moron... once a bet is called or folded to by everyone else at the table, the betting round is over...
