Default HELP!!! "Due to govt. regulations, not allowed in your area"

Here's the full message... "We are sorry but, due to government regulations, playing real money tournaments is not allowed in your area"

I get this message when I try to play any real money games whether its just ring games or, like this one says, tournaments. I live in New Jersey and am aware that they have somewhat stricter rules, but the odd thing is I was able to play in 5 tournaments and one ring game until I got this message. Seems kinda odd. Does this come up occasionally for people in the USA then go away or am I more or less screwed on PokerStars?

I just started playing real money yesterday so needless to say I'm in the negative so it'd be pretty damn sleazy for PS to let me lose money THEN decide I can't play anymore. But of course, it was my own fault that I lost and I don't mind that, but I just don't get why I could play before and can't now.

Well, I guess someone found a way to get legislation to legalize on line poker through congress quickly. Either that or there will be a lot of professional legislators (from the top down) who are serving their final term.

AND while we are totally angry with the Washington bureaucracy maybe it is time to limit their retirement to 1/12 their annual salary for life, make them subject to so so security, make them subject to all the laws they pass. No more exemption from sexual harassment suits. No more private health care. No more private retirement plan. No more passing laws that they exempt themselves from.

Inflation is rampant, gasoline is going out of sight and now they want me to drive to a smoke filled Indian casino to play a little poker. I don't think so.

With all my free time now, I think I will run for congress.

I'm starting to think moving to another country is what its going to take. Can't believe the government did this. I signed a petition against it and I'm passing it on, I hope everyone signs it and passes it on too!
