He means: makes absolutely no sense to bet that river. Only better hands will call you down (any draw got there as well). Would anybody limp 4 x ?

How ever Yoda said it there, I agree. If your check that flop, it better be for the check raise. You don't like any overcards that come. If you had shown agression on the flop, he woulda come over the top there and you could have released your hand, or pushed if you thought he was bluffing.
I think his river play is spot on. There's a straight and a flush sitting there. But his turn play is confusing. As is yours.Luck is a Residue of Design.
